GANDINI Juggling returns to the Oxford Playhouse with Spring, the third and final part of their trilogy of flirtations between juggling and elaborate dance.
The show is performed by a cast of virtuoso jugglers and contemporary dancers, with signature Gandini flashes of humour and a futuristic original score, and comes to the stage on June 4.
The group were last at the Playhouse in 2015 with the show 4×4: Ephemeral Architectures.
Spring is a reflection on the nature of colour and how we perceive it and the performance showcases exuberant patterns and colours.
This new large-scale show is a result of director Sean Gandini and choreographer Alexander Whitley’s time flirting with various neighbouring art forms and exploring the relationships between them.
Watch out for its a darkly futuristic original score by Gabriel Prokofiev, and eye-popping lighting flooding the stage, in this production Gandini Juggling reinvent and reinvigorate the artform for the 21st century.
Tickets for Gandini Juggling at Oxford Playhouse start at £10 and are available from the ticket office on 01865 305305 or go to oxfordplayhouse.com
