POLICE have released CCTV images of two men after a spate of burglaries in Bicester town centre.
Officers said thieves broke into four businesses and attempted to break into a further seven shops overnight on November 2 to 3.
Police have linked the incidents and said they want to speak to the men in the images who “may have vital information in connection
with a series of burglaries in Bicester”.
The stores targeted included Inside Out Developments, in Churchill Road, where an impact drill and soldering equipment was stolen, cash was taken from Gold Star Nails in Crown Walk, and in Dove and Conway Opticians, in Sheep Street, where cash, two iPads and a laptop were stolen.
Travel agent TUI, in Crown Walk, was broken in to but nothing was taken.
Burglars also attempted to get in to Just Men and Sharron’s Cutting Room, both in Evans Yard, and Boots Opticians, Options Beauty, Coles Bookstore, Robinsons Antiques and Boutique and Baguette Box all in Crown Walk.
Sergeant Kerry O’Leary, of the Bicester Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I am keen to speak to the men in the CCTV images, as they might have information which is vital to our investigation.”
