Businesses based in the west of the region have been championed as a launch event at Blenheim Palace declared entries open for next year’s West Oxfordshire Business Awards.
Witney MP Robert Courts was joined by small business champion Emma Jones to encourage people to nominate individuals and businesses as a way to raise profiles and credibility.
Organiser Jo Sensecall said: “The WOBA team would like to encourage all businesses to enter to make this the best WOBAs yet.
“There is definitely a category for everyone whether you are a one-man band working from your kitchen table or a large company employing hundreds of people.”
WOBA 2018 has 13 awards with 11 categories and businesses can enter as many as they like before the midnight deadline on Monday, December 4.
Finalists will be revealed at the Celebration of Business event in February and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner the following month at Heythrop Park Resort.
