Golf can be the most frustrating game – one day every drive will go straight down the fairway and the next you’ll hit every bunker.
Leadership can be just the same – one day its plain sailing, the next it’s all a big challenge.
While you might not think the two have much in common, Jo Cameron and partner Julian Mellor are out to prove otherwise.
And you can find out for yourself at The Oxfordshire Golf Hotel & Spa in Thame tomorrow (Friday May 19) when the pair bring their expertise to the course and the meeting room.
Don’t be surprised if Jo looks familiar when you meet her – after appearing on TV’s The Apprentice she decided it was time for a new hobby and went off to take golf lessons.
Designed for golfers and non-golfers, Jo and Julian combined their skills to set up Redmane helping clients develop leadership skills through golfing activities.
Already operating in Leamington Spa, the couple are now launching in Oxfordshire where as well as being introduced to the ‘easiest swing in golf’, participants can pick up some great leadership tips too.
The fairway is used to underpin the resilience workshop and the greens to demonstrate the emotional intelligence session.
The golf course provides the perfect learning environment. By taking people out on the fairways, in the bunkers, on the chipping areas and on the putting greens, it offers an innovative and powerful place for people to learn new skills.
