Abingdon Young Farmers are on course to have raised over £2,800 for charity by cycling 190 miles to Torquay on four tandem bikes.
The seven members set off on Tuesday to make their way to a National Federation of Young Farmers’ Club meeting and will be returning tomorrow.
They set themselves the cycling challenge to raise money for local charity Blue Skye Thinking, set up in memory of Skye Hall, who lost his battle against a brain tumour.
Sally Hall, director and founder of Blue Sky Thinking, said: “We are so grateful to the Abingdon Young Farmers to have taken on this ‘out of the box’ cycling challenge.”
